MISSION, VALUES AND PURPOSE

California College Personnel Association (CCPA) is a state division of the American College Personnel Association (ACPA).

Mission:

We are a comprehensive Student Affairs organization that meets the unique and specific needs of higher education professionals in the state of California.

Values:

We value social justice, collaboration and learning.

Purpose:

  • Create change by providing leadership opportunities for higher education professionals in the state of California;
  • Promote and disseminate research on effective practices in facilitating student learning and development; and
  • Encourage and advocate for the development of multicultural and social justice competencies.
